Sufganiyot - Filled Donuts!
The Holidays Best Stuffed Donut - to sourdough or not to sourdough?
Everywhere you look there are Christmas cookie tins coming together! I am a huge fan of a) cookies and b) anything that seems to transcend differences and unite. Truly seems like the cookie tin goes beyond religion and straight to the hearts of any sugar lover. If you haven’t made one yet I’d recommend doing a mix of cookies I highlighted last year or for the low lift high reward baker the versatile Almond Olive Oil shortbread I made for Kitchen Projects 12 Days of Christmas.
But are you already onto the new new? Want another all uniting treat?!
Enter the seasons best treat, fluffy yeasty donuts stuffed with jam or custard and rolled in flavored sugars. Spelt Sufganiyot recipe for PAID Subscribers below. Anything fried is the best way to celebrate the upcoming Festival of Lights. I love that the whole season, no matter your religion is about shining light into the winter darkness. Spreading warmth and love.
